This position is based in our Reservations team who are responsible for all incoming enquiries and reservations for the property. Skyline Queenstown is an award winning tourist attraction, featuring a fantastic restaurant, event and conference facilities, the iconic Luge ride and Gondola access to mountain biking trails and the spectacular and much photographed view of Queenstown, the Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu.
The successful applicant will be a guest focused individual, with a professional and confident telephone manner, clear and concise written and verbal communication and the ability to time manage. This role is within a fast paced environment and all candidates must have the ability to juggle numerous tasks while providing fantastic customer service. Day to day tasks involve a lot of admin so we are looking for someone who is diligent and attentive to detail in ensuring all bookings are accurate, and all relevant information is received and communicated promptly.
At least 1 year previous experience in a reservations role is essential as you will have to hit the ground running. Working knowledge of the Restaurant Diary reservation system and InTouch POS system is preferred, however training will be provided to the successful candidate. It would also be beneficial to have experience in the hospitality industry, although full training will be provided.
Flexibility is a must as the successful candidate will be required to work rostered shifts, weekends and school/public holidays.
